This quick and easy smoothie has that lovely sweetly, warm spiced flavour we all love in a decadent carrot cake, but it is totally dairy-free and is packed with clean protein, thanks to our No Yolking™ 100 % Egg White Protein Powder. It’s the perfect way to start the day or get an energy boost in the afternoon.

2 cups (500 mL) carrot juice 
1 cup (250 mL) dairy-free unsweetened almond or coconut beverage
1 cup (250 mL) chopped pineapple
1 small frozen banana
1/2 cup (125 mL)  No Yolking™ 100 % Egg White Protein Powder
1 tbsp (15 mL) EACH orange zest and minced ginger
1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla extract
1/2 tsp (2 mL) ground cinnamon 
1/4 tsp (1 mL) ground nutmeg
2 cups (500 mL) ice


  1. Place carrot juice, milk, pineapple, banana, protein powder, orange zest, ginger, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg in high-speed blender with ice. 
  2. Mix on low speed for 1 minute and then increase speed to high. Blend for 1 to 2 minutes or until very smooth. Divide into 4 glasses. Serve immediately. 

Tip: For a fully loaded Carrot Cake Smoothie, garnish rim with toasted unsweetened coconut and top with a dollop of Whipped Coconut Protein Topping and sprinkle of cinnamon.
